بَابُ لَا تَعْزِيرَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْمُرُوءَةِ وَالْكِرَامِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا

وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " تَجَافُوا عَنْ عُقُوبَةِ ذَوِي الْمُرُوءَةِ إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ " .
قُلْتُ : فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَهُوَ بِتَمَامِهِ فِي بَابِ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ الْفِهْرِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَهُوَ بِتَمَامِهِ فِي بَابِ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ الْفِهْرِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Refrain from punishing people of standing, except that the matter of one of the prescribed punishments of Allah Almighty is different (that is, in the case of a prescribed punishment he will be punished)."
(Al-Haythami says:) I say: After that he mentioned the complete hadith, which is found in full in the chapter on visiting graves.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains Muhammad bin Kathir bin Marwan al-Fihri, who is da'if (weak).
