عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ : جَاءَ مَاعِزُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَرَدَّهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ : " اسْتَنْكِهُوهُ " فَاسْتَنْكَهُوهُ ثُمَّ رُجِمَ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Ma'iz bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him back. Then he said: "Smell his breath." The people smelled his breath, then he was stoned.
