وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ : قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ :
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأَمَرَنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ ، وَنَهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأَمَرَنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ ، وَنَهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ .

Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed us in a sermon, commanding us to give charity and forbidding us from mutilation.
