وَعَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، وَعَائِذِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ ، قَالَا : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ فِيهِ الرُّوحُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْخَبَائِرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna al-Hakam bin Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna A'idh bin Qurt (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not mutilate anything of Allah's creation that has a soul in it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Sulayman bin Salamah al-Khaba'iri, who is matruk (abandoned).
