وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ :
" أَكْثَرُ مُنَافِقِي أُمَّتِي قُرَّاؤُهَا " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ ، وَكَذَلِكَ رِجَالُ أَحَدِ إِسْنَادَيِ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Most of the hypocrites of my Ummah will be its reciters (that is, scholars or memorizers of the Qur'an)."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy); likewise, the narrators of one of Ahmad's two chains are thiqat (trustworthy).
