Majma al-Zawaid 10415 — I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: Most
وَعَنْ عِصْمَةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ :
" أَكْثَرُ مُنَافِقِي أُمَّتِي قُرَّاؤُهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Most of the hypocrites of my Ummah will be its reciters (scholars or memorizers of the Qur'an)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains the narrator al-Fadl bin al-Mukhtar, who is da'if (weak).
