وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعَدِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِقَوْمِي فَإِنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Forgive my people, for they do not know."
