Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of Uhud, Abdullah bin Qami'ah struck the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a stone, which wounded his blessed face and broke his front teeth. He said: "Take this! I am Ibn Qami'ah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), wiping the blood from his face, said to him: "What is the matter with you? May Allah Almighty humiliate you." (The narrator says:) So Allah Almighty set a mountain goat upon him, which kept butting him with its horns until it (the goat) tore him to pieces.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Hafs bin Umar al-Adani, who is da'if (weak).
