❀ The Virtue of Janazah Prayer
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
من شهد الجنازة حتى يصلى عليها فله قيراط و من شهدها حتى تدفن فله قيراطان ، قيل وما القيراطان؟ قال مثل الحبلين العظيمتين
“Whoever attends a funeral and performs the Janazah prayer will receive one Qirat of reward. And whoever stays until the burial is completed will receive two Qirats of reward.”
It was asked: What are the two Qirats?
He replied: “Like two great mountains.”

✔ Summary of the Reward:
❶ Attending the Janazah and offering the prayer earns a reward equivalent to one Qirat.
