❀ Question

Is it permissible to perform an operation to extract a child from the womb of a woman who has passed away?

❀ Answer

الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام علىٰ رسول الله، أما بعد!

This act is permissible on the condition that there is certainty, or at least a strong likelihood (ẓann ghālib), that the child can be delivered alive.
