Question:
What is the ruling on sleeping after Fajr prayer?
Answer:
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd!
There is a narration regarding the prohibition of sleeping after Fajr prayer; however, that narration is weak (ḍaʿīf).
Nevertheless, it is clear that reciting the Qur’an and remembering Allah at this time is a deed far better and superior than sleeping.
Hādhā mā ʿindī wallāhu aʿlam bis-ṣawāb.
