Hadith 342
أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَشْعَثِ ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ الْفَتْحِ فَرَأَى رَجُلا يَحْتَجِمُ لِثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً خَلَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ، فَقَالَ وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِي : " أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him): In the year of the conquest of Makkah, I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he saw a man having cupping done on the eighteenth of Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while holding my hand, said, "The fast of the one who does cupping and the one who gets cupped is broken."
Hadith 343
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that "The one who gives cupping and the one who gets cupped, their fast is broken."
Hadith 344
عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ صَائِمًا مُحْرِمًا " .
Maqsam (may Allah have mercy on him), the freed slave of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), narrates that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done while fasting and in the state of ihram.
