Hadith 638

أَخْبَرَنِي سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا تَقْسِمُ وَرَثَتِي دِينَارًا ، مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدَ نَفَقَةِ أَهْلِي وَمُؤْنَةِ عَامِلِي فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ ، لا تَقْسِمُ وَرَثَتِي دِينَارًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "My inheritance will not be distributed in the form of dinars. Whatever I leave behind, after providing for my wives and paying the wages of my workers, whatever remains will be considered charity. My inheritance will not be distributed in the form of dinars."
