أَنْبَأَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّمْتِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ كَعْبٍ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى زَمَنَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ وَلِيدٌ صَغِيرٌ أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade, at the time of Khaybar, that any small child or woman be killed.
