Hadith 632

أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا تُسَافِرُوا بِالْقُرْآنِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ ؛ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not travel with the Qur'an to the land of the enemy; I fear that the enemy may disrespect the Qur'an."
