أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ ، قَالَتْ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْهَدْيِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " عَنِ الْغُلامِ شَاتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ ، لا يَضُرُّكُمْ ذُكْرَانًا كُنَّ أَوْ إِنَاثًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and was asking about the meat of the sacrifice, when I heard him (ﷺ) say: "For a boy, two goats should be slaughtered, and for a girl, one goat; there is no harm whether they are male or female."
