عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنِ الرَّبَابِ ، عَنْ عَمِّهَا سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَعَ الْغُلامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ الدِّمَاءَ وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الأَذَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Aqiqah is obligatory for every child; shed the blood of the aqiqah on his behalf and remove his filth."
