أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ عُوَيْمِرِ بْنِ أَشْقَرَ ، أَنَّهُ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْدُوَ وَأَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ أَنِ انْصَرَفَ " فَزَعَمَ أَنَّهُ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَعُودَ بِأُضْحِيَّةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Abbad bin Tamim (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna ‘Uwaymir bin Ashqar (may Allah be pleased with him) offered the sacrifice before going out for the ‘Eid prayer. After the prayer, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to know about it, he (peace be upon him) ordered him to offer the sacrifice again.
