أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ، أَنَّ عُوَيْمِرَ بْنَ أَشْقَرَ ذَبَحَ أُضْحِيَّتَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْدُوَ يَوْمَ الأَضْحَى وَأَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَعُودَ بِضَحِيَّةٍ أُخْرَى " .
It is narrated from ‘Ibad bin Tamim (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna ‘Uwaymir bin Ashqar (may Allah be pleased with him) performed the sacrifice before offering the ‘Eid al-Adha prayer. When this was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to perform the sacrifice again.
