عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْبِتْعِ ، فَقَالَ : " كُلُّ شَرَابٍ أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about al-Bit‘ (a drink made from honey), so he (peace be upon him) said: "Every drink that intoxicates is forbidden."
