عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَتْهُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ ، فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَرْجِعَ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنْ رَجَعْتُ فَلَمْ أَجِدْكَ ؟ كَأَنَّهَا تَعْنِي الْمَوْتَ ، قَالَ : " فَأْتِ أَبَا بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asking for something. The Prophet (ﷺ) told her, "(Go now and) come back again." She said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), if I come back and do not find you?" The narrator says that the woman was referring to death. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "(Then) go to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him)."
