Hadith 458

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، " عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا طَافَ لِلْحَجِّ أَوِ الْعُمْرَةِ ، أَوَّلُ مَا يَقْدَمُ يَسْعَى ثَلاثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ بِالْبَيْتِ وَيَمْشِي أَرْبَعَةً ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَطُوفُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Tawaf of Hajj or Umrah, he would run during the first three circuits and walk normally during the last four, then he would offer two rak'ahs, and then perform the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah.
