عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا لِخَمْسٍ بَقِينَ مِنْ ذِي الْقِعْدَةِ لا نَرَى إِلا الْحَجَّ ، فَلَمَّا كُنَّا بِسَرِفٍ أَوْ قَرِيبٍ مِنْهَا " أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ أَنْ يَجْعَلَهَا عُمْرَةً " ، فَلَمَّا كُنَّا بِمِنًى أُتِيتُ بِلَحْمِ بَقَرٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : مَا هَذَا ؟ فَقَالُوا : ذَبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ . قَالَ يَحْيَى : فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ فَقَالَ : جَاءَتْ وَاللَّهِ بِالْحَدِيثِ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ .
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Five days were left for the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah to end, and we intended only Hajj. When we reached the vicinity of Sarif, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered: "Whoever does not have an animal should perform Umrah (i.e., perform Hajj Tamattu')." When we were in Mina, I was given beef. I asked: Where did this come from? The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has offered a sacrifice on behalf of his wives. Yahya (may Allah have mercy on him), the narrator, says: I related this hadith to Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him), and he said: By Allah, a completely authentic hadith has reached you.
