عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ لا نَرَى إِلا الْحَجَّ ، حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِسَرِفٍ أَوْ قَرِيبٍ مِنْهَا حِضْتُ ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي ، فَقَالَ : " مَا لَكَ أَنَفِسْتِ ؟ " فَقُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ هَذَا أَمْرٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ فَاقْضِي مَا يَقْضِي الْحَاجُّ غَيْرَ أَلا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ " ، قَالَتْ : وَضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ بِالْبَقَرِ .
Narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): We set out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with the intention of Hajj. When we reached the vicinity of Sarif, I began menstruating. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to me while I was crying and said: "What is the matter? Has your menstruation started?" I said: "Yes." He (ﷺ) said: "This is a matter Allah the Exalted has decreed for the daughters of Adam (you have no control over it). So do all the rituals of Hajj except for the Tawaf of the House (Ka'bah)." Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) offered a cow as a sacrifice on behalf of his wives.
