أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي مِرْطٍ بَعْضُهُ عَلَيَّ وَبَعْضُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ " .
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray (at night), and a part of the sheet would be on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and a part of it would be on me, even though I would be in the state of menstruation.
