قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَالًا مِنَ اللهِ وَاللهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ} [المائدة: 38].
Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: "And as for the male thief and the female thief, cut off the hands of both of them as a recompense for what they earned, and an exemplary punishment from Allah. And Allah Almighty is All-Mighty, All-Wise." [Surah al-Ma'idah: 38]
