أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، فَأَصَابَ النَّاسَ جُوعٌ، فَأَصَبْنَا إِبِلًا وَغَنَمًا، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أُخْرَيَاتِ النَّاسِ، فَعَجِلُوا فَذَبَحُوا وَنَصَبُوا الْقُدُورَ، فَدَفَعَ إِلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ بِالْقُدُورِ فَأُكْفِئَتْ، ثُمَّ قَسَمَ فَعَدَلَ عَشْرًا مِنَ الْغَنَمِ بِبَعِيرٍ "، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، وَأَخْرَجَاهُ مِنْ أَوْجُهٍ أُخَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ.
Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at Dhu al-Hulayfah. The people were struck by hunger. We had camels and goats, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was among the rest of the people. They hurried, slaughtered (the animals) and set up the cooking pots (on the fires). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to them and ordered the pots to be overturned. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) divided (the spoils) and made ten goats equal to one camel.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ الْأَشْعَرِيِّينَ إِذَا أَرْمَلُوا فِي الْغَزْوِ وَقَلَّ طَعَامُ عِيَالِهِمْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ جَمَعُوا مَا كَانَ عِنْدَهُمْ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، ثُمَّ اقْتَسَمُوهُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ بِالسَّوِيَّةِ، فَهُمْ مِنِّي، وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ " رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ، وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ.
Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Ash'aris are on a military expedition, or the food of their families in Madinah runs short, they gather it in a single cloth, then divide it among themselves equally by means of one vessel. They are of me, and I am of them."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ مَوْلَى الْأَنْصَارِ، عَنْ رِجَالٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا ظَهَرَ عَلَى خَيْبَرَ قَسَمَهَا عَلَى سِتَّةٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ سَهْمًا، جَمْعُ كُلِّ سَهْمٍ مِائَةُ سَهْمٍ، فَكَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِلْمُسْلِمِينَ النِّصْفُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ، وَعَزَلَ النِّصْفَ الْبَاقِيَ لِمَنْ نَزَلَ بِهِ مِنَ الْوُفُودِ وَالْأُمُورِ وَنَوَائِبِ النَّاسِ ".
Bushayr bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) (a freed slave of the Ansar) narrates from Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (may Allah be pleased with them) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Khaybar, he (peace and blessings be upon him) divided it into 36 shares. He (peace and blessings be upon him) made each share comprise a hundred shares. Half of it was for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and the Muslims, and he set aside the remaining half for the delegations, affairs and calamities that befell people.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسَمَ خَيْبَرَ عَلَى سِتَّةٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ سَهْمًا، لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ سَهْمًا لِمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الْحُقُوقِ، وَأَمْرِ النَّاسِ، وَقَسَمَ ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ سَهْمًا تَجْمَعُ ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلًا، يَضْرِبُ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ بِمِائَةِ رَجُلٍ ".
Bushayr bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) divided Khaybar into 36 shares. Eighteen shares were for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), for the rights and the affairs of the people, and the other eighteen shares he distributed. He (peace and blessings be upon him) grouped eighteen men, then joined a hundred men to each man. [Sahih. It has preceded.]
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مِكْنَفٍ، أَخِي بَنِي حَارِثَةَ، قَالَ: لَمَّا أَخْرَجَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَهُودَ خَيْبَرَ رَكِبَ فِي الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ وَخَرَجَ مَعَهُ بِجَبَّارِ بْنِ صَخْرِ بْنِ خَنْسَاءَ أَحَدِ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ، وَكَانَ خَارِصَ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَحَاسِبَهُمْ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، فَهُمَا قَسَمَا خَيْبَرَ بَيْنَ أَهْلِهَا عَلَى أَصْلِ جَمَاعَةِ السُّهْمَانِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عَلَيْهَا ".
Abdullah bin Miknaf (may Allah be pleased with him), the brother of Banu Harithah, said: When Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) expelled the Jews of Khaybar, he rode out among the Muhajirun and the Ansar. With him went Jabbar bin Sakhr bin Khansa' (may Allah be pleased with him), one of Banu Salimah, who was the assessor and accountant of the people of Madinah, and Yazid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him). The two of them divided Khaybar among its people according to the original shares on which it had been.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ السَّيْلَحِينِيُّ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَدُ اللهِ مَعَ الْقَاضِي حِينَ يَقْضِي، وَيَدُ اللهِ مَعَ الْقَاسِمِ حِينَ يَقْسِمُ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The hand of Allah is with the judge when he judges, and the hand of Allah is with the one who divides (al-qasim) when he divides."
