Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are seven kinds of people whom Allah Almighty will shade in His shade, on the day when there will be no shade: the just imam; the man who grows up in the worship of Allah; the person whose heart remains attached to the mosque; two men who love each other for the sake of Allah, meeting upon that and parting upon that; the man whom a beautiful woman of noble lineage invites to fornication and he says: I fear Allah; the man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has spent; and the man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes overflow with tears."

Ibn Hurmuz has wronged me and transgressed against me. Abd al-Malik ignored him. Then he complained again, and again he ignored him. So he said again, in anger: O Commander of the Believers! It is written in the Torah, which Allah Almighty revealed to Musa (peace be upon him), that the injustice and transgression of a governor is no sin upon the ruler as long as the ruler remains unaware of it; but once he comes to know, he is a sinner. When Abd al-Malik heard this, he removed Ibn Hurmuz from his post.
