Reports on a slain man found between two villages, which are not authentic

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A slain man was found between two villages. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that both be measured, and one tribe was found to be nearer by a handspan, so the blood money was placed on them. Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It is as if I am looking at the handspan of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
