Yazid bin Hurmuz said that Najdah wrote a letter to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) in which he asked: When does the orphanhood of an orphan end? So, by my life! When a man's beard has grown and he is still unable to obtain anything for himself or to give anything, then when he obtains something good for himself, as other people obtain, at that time his orphanhood will have ended.
