وَرَوَاهُ قَيْسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " وَأَمَّا مَا سَأَلْتَ عَنِ انْقِضَاءِ يُتْمِ الْيَتِيمِ، فَإِذَا بَلَغَ الْحُلُمَ، وَأُونِسَ مِنْهُ رُشْدُهُ، فَقَدِ انْقَضَى يُتْمُهُ، فَادْفَعْ إِلَيْهِ مَالَهُ " أَخْبَرَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أنبأ وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَيْسًا فَذَكَرَهُ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ.
Jarir bin Hazim said: I heard Qays narrate from Yazid bin Hurmuz, from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), that he said: "As for what you asked about when an orphan's orphanhood ends: when he reaches puberty and sound judgement is perceived in him, his orphanhood has ended, so hand his property over to him."
