Abdullah, the freed slave of Asma, said that Sayyidah Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) stopped on the night of Jam' near the house at Muzdalifah and began to pray. She prayed, then said: O my son, has the moon set? I said: No. Then she prayed for a while, then asked: O my son, has the moon disappeared? I said: Yes! She said: Then let us move on. So we set off until she stoned the Jamrah. Then she came back and offered the morning prayer in her lodging. I said: I think we have stoned in the darkness! She said: No! "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave permission to the women."

(b) Through another chain, Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates the like of it: This is how he narrated it in al-Imla', and in al-Mukhtasar al-Kabir he narrated it with both chains together, except that he said: "until she has stoned the Jamrah and joins him in Makkah at the time of the morning prayer," and it was her (Sayyidah Umm Salamah's) day, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) liked that she should be with him.
And it is narrated likewise through another chain as well.
