(a) Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went to Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) on the Day of Sacrifice and ordered her to hasten her departure from Jam' "until she reaches Makkah and offers the morning prayer there," and it was her day, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) liked that she should be with him.
(b) Through another chain, Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates the like of it: This is how he narrated it in al-Imla', and in al-Mukhtasar al-Kabir he narrated it with both chains together, except that he said: "until she has stoned the Jamrah and joins him in Makkah at the time of the morning prayer," and it was her (Sayyidah Umm Salamah's) day, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) liked that she should be with him.
And it is narrated likewise through another chain as well.
