أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " وَقَفْتُ هَا هُنَا بِعَرَفَةَ وَعَرَفَةُ كُلُّهَا مَوْقِفٌ، وَوَقَفْتُ هَا هُنَا بِجَمْعٍ، وَجَمْعٌ كُلُّهَا مَوْقِفٌ، وَنَحَرْتُ هَا هُنَا بِمِنًى وَمِنًى كُلُّهَا مَنْحَرٌ، فَانْحَرُوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ "، رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have stood here at Arafah, and all of Arafah is a standing place; I have stood here at Muzdalifah, and all of Muzdalifah is a standing place; and I have sacrificed here at Mina, and all of Mina is a place of sacrifice. So sacrifice at your own encampments."
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " عَرَفَةُ كُلُّهَا مَوْقِفٌ، وَارْتَفِعُوا عَنْ بَطْنِ عُرَنَةَ، وَالْمُزْدَلِفَةُ كُلُّهَا مَوْقِفٌ، وَارْتَفِعُوا عَنْ مُحَسِّرٍ ".
Muhammad bin al-Munkadir (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All of Arafah is a standing place, and keep away from (the valley of) Uranah; and all of Muzdalifah is a standing place, and keep away from Muhassir."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا يَحْيَى، أنبأ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، أنبأ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " ارْتَفِعُوا عَنْ عُرَنَاتٍ، وَارْتَفِعُوا، عَنْ مُحَسِّرٍ "، قَالَ: " وَعُرَنَاتٌ بِعَرَفَاتٍ "، وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ: وَبَطْنُ عُرَنَةَ الَّذِي فِيهِ الْمَبْنَى، قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وَرَوَاهُ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ يُقَالُ، وَرُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَرْفُوعًا.
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Keep away from Uranat and keep away from Muhassir. He said: Uranat is at Arafat. And Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Batn Uranah is the place in which the building stands.
The Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Yahya al-Qattan narrated this from Ibn Jurayj, from Ata, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and said: "It used to be said."

أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ، بِمَرْوَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ارْفَعُوا عَنْ بَطْنِ عُرَنَةَ وَارْفَعُوا عَنْ مُحَسِّرٍ ".
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep away from Batn Uranah and keep away from Muhassir."
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا عَلِيٌّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ، شَكَّ سُفْيَانُ، فَذَكَرَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " ارْفَعُوا عَنْ بَطْنِ مُحَسِّرٍ وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ ".
Ziyad bin Sa'd (may Allah have mercy on him) also narrated this same hadith, but he said: "Keep away from Batn Muhassir, and keep to pebbles like those flicked between the fingers (khadhf)."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، يَعْنِي ابْنَ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ، قَالَ: كُنَّا وُقُوفًا بِعَرَفَةَ فِي مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ مِنَ الْمَوْقِفِ يَبْعُدُهُ، فَأَتَانَا ابْنُ مِرْبَعٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْكُمْ، يَقُولُ: " كُونُوا عَلَى مَشَاعِرِكُمْ هَذِهِ، فَإِنَّكُمْ عَلَى إِرْثٍ مِنْ إِرْثِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ ".
Yazid bin Shayban said: We were standing at Arafah in a place far from the standing-place (mawqif), and Ibn Mirba' al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us and said: I am the messenger of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to you; he was saying: "Remain at these sacred sites (masha'ir) of yours, for you are the inheritors of the heritage of Ibrahim (peace be upon him)." وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: عَنْ عَنْ وَقَالَ: أَتَانَا ابْنُ مِرْبَعٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ بِعَرَفَةَ وَنَحْنُ فِي مَكَانٍ مِنَ الْمَوْقِفِ يُبَاعِدُهُ عَمْرٌو يَعْنِي عَنِ الْإِمَامِ، فَقَالَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَهُ.
