Bayhaqi 9457 — Proceeding to the place of standing by the rocks

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) said concerning the Hajj of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted until he came to the standing place. He turned the belly of his she-camel al-Qaswa' towards the rocks, placed Habl al-Mushat (the path of those on foot) in front of him, and faced the qiblah. Then he remained standing there until the sun set.
