Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank water during tawaf.
This is gharib (unusual) with this wording; the well-known narration from Asim al-Ahwal is the one that follows.
Hadith Referenceالسنن الكبرى للبيهقي / كتاب الحج / 9297
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by Zamzam and asked for water. I brought him a bucket of Zamzam water, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank it standing.
Hadith Referenceالسنن الكبرى للبيهقي / كتاب الحج / 9298
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I gave the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) Zamzam water to drink and he drank it standing; he (peace and blessings be upon him) was at the House when he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for water.
In none of their narrations is the tawaf mentioned, and Allah knows best.
