Nafi' says: When Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) drew near to Makkah, he would spend the night at Dhu Tuwa between the two mountain passes until morning came, then he would enter Makkah by the upper pass. Whenever he set out for Hajj or Umrah, he would not enter Makkah without first taking a bath (ghusl) at Dhu Tuwa, and he would order his companions to take a bath before entering as well.
