Bayhaqi 9199 — Collected chapters on entering Makkah -- Chapter: Ghusl

Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Whenever Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) went to Makkah, he would spend the night at Dhu Tuwa, take a bath (ghusl) in the morning, then enter Makkah during the day, and he would say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do the same.
