Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man wearing a cloak with traces of khaluq or yellow dye on it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take it off, and do in your Umrah as you do in your Hajj."
Qatadah said: I said to Ata': "We used to hear that he said: 'Tear it.'" He said: "That is ruin, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, does not love ruin."
