أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ لَمْ يَأْخُذْ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ وَلَا مِنْ لِحْيَتِهِ شَيْئًا حَتَّى يَحُجَّ.
When Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) finished the fasts of Ramadan while intending Hajj, he would not cut the hair of his head or his beard until he had performed Hajj.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ، ثنا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كُنَّا نُؤْمَرُ أَنْ نُوَفِّرَ السِّبَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ قَالَ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ: يَعْنِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ عِنْدَ الْحَلْقِ.
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We used to be commanded to let our hair grow in Hajj and Umrah." Al-Muharibi said: That is, on the Day of Sacrifice, at the time of shaving.
