Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), the son of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), died, the sun was eclipsed. People said: The sun was eclipsed because of the death of Ibrahim. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The sun and the moon are among the signs of Allah; they are not eclipsed for anyone's death or life. When you see that, turn eagerly to the remembrance of Allah and to prayer."
