Huzayl (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) ordered a man to lead the weak people in the Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha prayer in the mosque, and to pray four rak'ahs with them.
It is possible that he meant two rak'ahs of tahiyyat al-masjid (greeting the mosque), and then two rak'ahs of the Eid prayer, separate from them.
