أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الذُّهْلِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي تَطَوُّعِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ: " كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى، وَرَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ.
Yahya bin Yahya said: I read out to Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) the narration of Nafi' from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the voluntary prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "He (peace and blessings be upon him) would not pray after the Friday prayer, but when he returned home he would pray two rak'ahs in his house."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أنبأ أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُطِيلُ الصَّلَاةَ قَبْلَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَيُصَلِّي بَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ، وَحَدَّثَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ ".
Nafi' said: Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to lengthen the prayer before the Friday prayer and pray two rak'ahs at home after it, and he would say: "This is how the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do."
