أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ مَحْمُودٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَقْرَةِ الْغُرَابِ، وَافْتِرَاشِ السَّبُعِ، وَأَنْ يُوَطِّنَ الرَّجُلُ الْمَقَامَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ كَمَا يُوَطِّنُ الْبَعِيرُ ". تَابَعَهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ.
Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Shibl (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade pecking like a crow and spreading the hands like a beast of prey, and he also forbade a man to fix a particular place for himself in the mosque as a camel fixes a place for itself."
وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا ابْنُ مِلْحَانَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ مَحْمُودٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ افْتِرَاشِ السَّبُعِ، وَأَنْ يُنْقَرَ نَقْرَ الْغُرَابِ، وَأَنْ يُوطِنَ الرَّجُلُ الْمَقَامَ كَإِيطَانِ الْبَعِيرِ ".
Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Shibl (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade pecking like a crow, prohibited spreading the forearms like a beast of prey, and also forbade reserving a fixed place like a camel."
