أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ مَجْلِسٍ كَانَ فِيهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِمَجْلِسِهِ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you gets up from a place in which he was [sitting] and then returns to it, he has more right to that place."
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ التُّرْقُفِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ قَامَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ عَادَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ ". وَهَذَا مُنْقَطِعٌ إِلَّا أَنَّ فِيهِ ذِكْرَ الْجُمُعَةِ.
Urwah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gets up from his place on Friday and then comes back has more right to it."
