أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ، وَعَنِ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ، وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The pen has been lifted from three people: from the one who is asleep until he wakes up, from the child until he reaches puberty, and from the insane until he regains his reason."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَبُو الشَّيْخِ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ، ثنا هُدْبَةُ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَقْبَلُ صَلَاةَ الْحَائِضِ إِلَّا بِخِمَارٍ ". قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ: أَرَادَ بِالْحَيْضِ الْبُلُوغَ. قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وَفِيهِ كَالدَّلَالَةِ عَلَى تَوَجُّهِ الْفَرْضِ عَلَيْهَا إِذَا بَلَغَتْ بِالْحَيْضِ.
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty does not accept the prayer of a girl who has reached maturity except with a head covering."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عَلِّمُوا الصَّبِيَّ الصَّلَاةَ ابْنَ سَبْعِ سِنِينَ، وَاضْرِبُوهُ عَلَيْهَا ابْنَ عَشْرٍ ".
Abd al-Malik bin al-Rabi' bin Sabrah narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Teach children the prayer when they are seven years old, and at the age of ten make them pray, even by smacking them."
