أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ قَادِمٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْمِرْثَدِيُّ (ح) وَأنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالُوا، ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا ⦗٦٩٦⦘ وُهَيْبٌ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا النَّضْرِ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اتَّخَذَ حُجْرَةً قَالَ: حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: مِنْ حَصِيرٍ فِي رَمَضَانُ فَصَلَّى فِيهَا لَيَالِيَ، وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْمِرْثَدِيِّ لَيْلَتَيْنِ، فَصَلَّى بِصَلَاتِهِ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، فَلَمَّا عَلِمَ بِهِمْ جَعَلَ يَقْعُدُ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِمْ، فَقَالَ: " قَدْ عَرَفْتُ الَّذِي رَأَيْتُ مِنْ صَنِيعِكُمْ، فَصَلُّوا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ، فَإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الصَّلَاةِ صَلَاةُ الْمَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ " وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْمَرْوَزِيِّ، وَالْمِرْثَدِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ حَمَّادٍ، وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، عَنْ بَهْزٍ عَنْ وُهَيْبٍ.
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made a chamber of a mat in Ramadan, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in it for a few nights. In the narration of al-Marthadi it is: two nights. And people prayed along with him (peace and blessings be upon him). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to know about them, he (peace and blessings be upon him) sat (at home), and then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have seen your state. O people! Pray in your homes, for the best prayer of a man is the one he prays at home, except the obligatory prayer."
أنبأ أَبُو نَصْرٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، أنبأ أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ أُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ فِي رَمَضَانَ؟ قَالَ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ: " أَلَيْسَ تَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ؟ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: " أَفَتُنْصِتُ كَأَنَّكَ حِمَارٌ؟ صَلِّ فِي بَيْتِكَ ".
Mujahid narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man said to him: Should I pray behind the imam in Ramadan? Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Are you not a hafiz (of the Qur'an)? He said: Yes! I am a hafiz. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Will you stay silent like a donkey? Pray in your house.
أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ مُوسَى بْنُ عَامِرٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ هُوَ ابْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُومُ فِي بَيْتِهِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَإِذَا انْصَرَفَ النَّاسُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ أَخَذَ إِدَاوَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ، ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ لَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ الصُّبْحَ ".
Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he used to perform the night prayer at home in Ramadan. When the people came out of the mosque after praying, he would take a vessel of water and go to the Prophet's Mosque, and then he would not leave the mosque until he had prayed the morning prayer.
