It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you vomits or regurgitates during his prayer, he should leave the prayer and perform ablution, and if he has not spoken to anyone, he should continue his prayer from where he left off." Ibn Jurayj said: If he has spoken, he should start afresh.

Hadith Takhrij«منكر۔ مضي تخريج في الحديث 669، بالجزء الاول»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has a nosebleed during his prayer should leave, perform ablution and then continue on the same prayer."
This hadith is one of the narrations of Isma'il bin Ayyash that were objected to; the preserved (mahfuz) version is the one the group narrated from Ibn Jurayj, from his father, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as mursal. Sulayman bin Arqam is matruk (abandoned), and what Isma'il bin Ayyash narrates from other than the people of Syria is da'if (weak) and not relied upon. Abbad bin Kathir and Ata bin Ajlan are both da'if (weak).

Nafi' narrates that whenever Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) had a nosebleed during the prayer, he would leave, perform ablution and come back, then continue from where he had prayed up to, and he would not speak in the meantime. Something similar is also narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
This report from Ibn Umar is sahih (authentic).

Asim bin Damrah narrates that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever feels a disturbance in his stomach or vomits should leave and come back after performing ablution. If he has not spoken in the meantime, he should continue from where he left off, and if he has spoken, he should start the prayer afresh.

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Whoever is praying and feels a disturbance in his stomach, or vomits, or has a nosebleed, and fears that he will lose his ablution before the imam gives the salam, should place his hand on his nose (and leave). Then, after performing ablution, if he wishes he may continue on the same prayer provided he has not spoken, that is, he does not repeat what has already passed. Then he should complete the rest of the prayer, and if he has spoken in the meantime, he should start afresh. And if he has already sat for the tashahhud and fears that his ablution will be broken before the imam gives the salam, he should give the salam (beforehand); his prayer is complete."
Al-Harith al-A'war is da'if (weak), and Asim bin Damrah is not strong. It has also been narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) through a third route, and there is weakness in it too. And Allah knows best.

(a) Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever, during the prayer, feels a disturbance in his stomach or the need to urinate should place his garment on his nose, go out and perform ablution, and not speak to anyone in the meantime; if he speaks, he should pray afresh.
(b) These narrations, if they are authentic, contain evidence that if one feels a disturbance in the prayer, it is permissible to leave the prayer before the ritual impurity (hadath) occurs, perform ablution and continue on the same prayer.

Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that it reached him that whenever Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) had a nosebleed, he would leave the prayer, wash off the blood, come back and continue on the same prayer.

It is narrated from Yazid bin Abdullah bin Qusayt (may Allah have mercy on him) that he saw Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) get a nosebleed during the prayer, so he came to the room of the Mother of the Believers Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her). A vessel of water was brought, he performed ablution, then he went back and continued on the same prayer.

It is narrated from Abu Idris al-Khawlani (may Allah have mercy on him) that if a nosebleed occurs during the prayer, he should go back and continue on what he has already prayed. Atiyyah said: Ibn Umar and Abu Salamah bin Abd al-Rahman wrote to Umayyah bin Khalid bin Usayd to that effect, and he read their letter out to us.

Abu Amr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that he heard Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) say: A person should break off the prayer, leave and perform ablution. If he has not spoken to anyone (in the meantime), he should come back and continue on the same prayer.

It is narrated from Yazid bin Abi Malik that he heard Umar bin Abd al-Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) say: When you turn your face away from the qiblah, repeat the entire prayer.

(a) It is narrated from al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he should pray the prayer again afresh.
(b) Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The best view in my opinion is that this breaks the prayer, and this is the view of al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him). It is also very close to the view of the generality of scholars regarding one who deliberately turns his back to the qiblah, that he starts afresh.
(c) He said: It is not permissible for him to be in a state in which prayer is not valid and then continue on his prayer in that way.
(d) His old view was that he continues on the same prayer.
(e) He said in al-Imla': Were it not for the positions of the jurists, I would hold that whoever turns away from the qiblah, whether because of a nosebleed or for some other reason, must start the prayer afresh; but in the reports there is nothing but acceptance. He said: This concerns this issue and other issues. And in his new view he indeed went back to the view of al-Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him). Wa billahi al-tawfiq (And success comes only from Allah).
