It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when the time of the Asr prayer had come. The people looked for water but did not find any. Water was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his blessed hand in the vessel and ordered the people: "Perform ablution from it." The narrator said: I saw the water gushing from beneath his (peace and blessings be upon him) fingers, and the people performed ablution, until even the last of them had performed ablution.
