Bayhaqi 924 — There is no fixed amount of water for purification

Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and I used to bathe from a single vessel. In those days the bowl was called 'al-faraq', "Faraq."
(b) Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates in his Sahih from Adam bin Abi Iyas, through Ibn Abi Dhi'b, that the bowl was called 'al-faraq', "Faraq."
